June 1994 SCORE covergirl Candy Cantaloupes was one of the big names for clubs that hired super-busty strippers every week as the feature act. If you were a regular clubgoer in the 1990s, you might have caught her shows at Flashdancers or any of the bigger clubs that booked the bigger-than-life fantasy girls with giant tits. This photo set was shot in the Bahamas, a great location our photo teams loved. The story goes that Candy quit and enrolled in a New York college to study biology.

“For me, when I think of the headlining mega-breasted stars of the 1990s, I think of girls like Tiffany Towers, Pandora Peaks, Lisa Chest, LuLu Devine, Toppsy Curvey and, of course, Candy. And I think of SCORE magazine. And then I think of those daytime TV talk shows such as Jenny Jones and Richard Bey, whose writers were constantly coming up with new ways to get one or more mega-busters on their show. Usually, it was something along the lines of, DON’T HATE ME BECAUSE I HAVE HUGE BOOBS! The girls would come out to a mixture of boos (mostly from jealous women) and applause (mostly from hopeful men) and always lots of oohs and aahs, and for one hour, TV was the ultimate in voyeur vision.”

Young Ingrid Had The Magic

This is the second of two sets that Ingrid did for her first time on-camera at Christmas time in 1991. Ingrid was 21 years old, with a fresh, peaches-and-cream appearance. A quiet girl, she was a good student in the art of posing. Her physical appearance was typical of the times. No tattoos, no piercings, well-groomed, with a full but neat bush.

After these debut shoots, Ingrid returned to the studio in 1993, posed some more (including a hardcore video with a British stud) and made her final encore in 1996. Today, we’d photograph someone like her a dozen or more times, if we could.

We met Ingrid for the first time when she simply walked into the studio and applied for a modeling job with the receptionist. That direct way of looking for modeling work was common when London was a hectic hub of international men’s magazine photography. Unfortunately for us, today, models rarely seek us out that way.

Heather Michaels: Made In America

Heather Michaels was one of the great American discoveries of the late 1990s, beginning in 1997 with five Voluptuous pictorials and two SCORE magazine spreads, plus a hardcore sex scene in the DVD SCORE Xtra 2.

The photo set of November 1996 Voluptuous magazine that accompanied Dawn Phoenix‘s 18th birthday video was a lot messier than the video version. Dawn’s talent for tugging on her long labia was part of the show. In one photo, Dawn held up a copy of the Sunday Sport newspaper to show the date the set was photographed.
