This is a rare photo shoot of 19-year-old Karen Partington in 1990 before she became a Page 3 star in England and a SCORE Girl in the April 1995 issue.

The editor of SCORE described Karen as a beauty who lived in the moment and didn’t worry about tomorrow, a description that still holds for many models of today. The difference is people were more carefree in the 1990s, especially men’s magazine models, who liked to hit the pubs, clubs and discos.

“The world’s too confusing as it is without having to plan everything,” Karen was quoted in SCORE. “I like to keep life simple. I’m just trying to have fun!”

Karen Partington: Page 3 Girl

The topless Page 3 Girl was a tradition of The Sun newspaper in Great Britain from 1970 until 2015. It launched the careers of hundreds of models and was only discontinued because of social pressure. Other newspapers followed The Sun’s lead when Page 3 was created because the photos of the girls on page 3 boosted circulation, but the original “Page 3 Girl” was a Sun creation.

Gorgeous Karen Partington was from Manchester and became a celebrity like other Page 3 Girls. She began modeling when she won a beauty contest and went on to videos and television appearances. This photo set was her SCORE debut, published in the April 1995 issue. The readers got to see Karen spread her pussy, a sight that didn’t make it into The Sun.

In the 1980s and 1990s, there was no escaping TV shows and movies featuring sexy girls wearing Spandex fitness clothing and working out in aerobics classes. And who would want to escape that kind of visual delight?

Sadly, this creative and educational activity that promoted physical fitness to the fat slobs around the world has been abandoned by ignorant film and television producers.

Karen makes us remember those glory years and then some. A bottle of oil comes in handy.

Busty Dusty in the Graffiti Zone

If Busty Dusty found herself on a Michael Jackson-inspired studio set with spray-can graffiti and a trash can, it would look like this 1997 British photo shoot published belatedly in the June 2012 issue of SCORE that was the magazine’s 20th anniversary special double-edition.

This super-sized version of Dusty is the one her fans associate her with the most. She logged in over 30 pictorials and over a dozen magazine covers, not counting European magazines that didn’t get to America.

“Obviously I don’t have a problem with nudity, or even sex, because I dance for a living. I have a lot of friends who are wild and crazy about sex who would never be in my business. When I first started to entertain and take my clothes off, I was very inhibited about everything. I was brought up Catholic. I was brought up to be conservative, and in that religious environment, taking your clothes off was considered a very bad thing.

“The real reason I ever got into dancing in the first place is because I was struck in Brazil, my mother paid for me to get out, I came back to the U.S., had to pay my mother back, didn’t like this thing hanging over my head and dancing was the best way to clean it up.”

Bath Time for Busty

“I love when people notice my butt,” Busty Dusty said in an interview. It was a comment we didn’t expect to hear. “I always thought I had a big butt. Actually, sorry, that’s sort of wrong, I think I have big legs, so I guess I have a pretty decent butt.

“I’m not going to sit here and brag, though, because I’ve never thought I had a really great one or anything close. I think a nice, small, tiny round butt is awesome. My butt looks like an upside-down heart shape. I don’t know…you tell me about my butt. Nobody wants to know how I feel about my butt!”

Well, for the record, we admired every inch of Dusty. A lot of the SCORE team got to know her during the three Boob Cruises she sailed on. This happens when you’re on a yacht for a week with someone. She was well-respected by everyone and a lot of fun.

Busty Dusty: Breaker of Bras

We reported in the February 1995 SCORE that superstar Busty Dusty would soon retire from dancing and magazine modeling.

Ooops. That didn’t happen.

“Okay, I’m quitting because gravity will be taking effect soon,” Dusty said in an interview published in the April 1995 issue. “It’s really because I’m just human and I’d like to be moving on to other things now. I’ve had a good run at dancing and modeling, but it’s just time for me to lead a less hectic life. I love refinishing antiques, and it would be nice to have a quaint little store, work regular hours and lead a normal life. I don’t know where I’ll be, but I’d prefer it was somewhere out in the ‘sticks’ because I love nature. I love running around nude in the grass.”

Dusty went on to sail three times on the Boob Cruise, start a website and make numerous stage and TV appearances. Dusty officially retired in 1999. She was inducted into SCORE‘s Big-Boob Hall of Fame in June 2003.

This British shoot was produced in 1991 when Dusty was Rocky Raquel and hadn’t super-sized her breasts.

1993: Ingrid in Her Nighties

Ingrid began posing in 1991 and wrapped it up in 1996. She had walked into the studio in London, spoken to the receptionist and applied for a modeling job. The old-fashioned way. It was commonplace back then for a girl to drop off her pictures and contact info, especially in England, and wait for a return call to set up her shoots. It’s happened perhaps once or twice at the SCORE Group studio in the USA over the past fifteen years.

This pictorial dates from 1993. Ingrid typified the kind of girls we were looking for when SCORE and Voluptuous were created, and her look is more valued than ever today.

As we’ve written before, Ingrid was an attractive, wholesome-looking, naturally busty model who didn’t pull the diva card on the set. When an editor was facing a deadline to complete an issue, Ingrid was the perfect girl to pull from the inventory for a six-page layout.
