Sierra the All-Star
“A strip club [Platinum Plus] opened down the street from my house. I got hired there as a waitress. When I got there, the manager said, ‘I know we hired you to be a waitress, but we really need dancers.’ I had never worn a pair of heels before. I didn’t even have a piece of lingerie in my closet, but I really needed money. I had no husband, lots of bills to pay, and I said, ‘What the hell, I’ll just try it. If I don’t like it, I’ll never do it again.’ I got some lingerie from K-Mart and some two-inch heels. I got up there and made a thousand dollars the first night. I was shaking so bad, I thought I was going to fall off the stage. But I made a thousand dollars the first night and I thought, Okay, I can keep doing this, but it took me six months before I was able to do my first table dance. I was too nervous.
“Then I discovered the famous Gold Club. The Gold Club was the absolute best. They believed in glamour. When I worked for the Gold Club, we used to do a review every night where we had to wear sequined gowns and come up with shows with props. The stage was set up with lights and smoke. They spent thousands of dollars on our costumes. It was true burlesque. And, of course, they had the gold rooms upstairs, and funny things would go on in those gold rooms, but, you know, alcohol and sex go together. What do you expect when you have all these pretty girls? I just don’t want to be grinding on anyone’s lap. It’s a very personal thing, like kissing. I don’t like guys grabbing and touching me. And it’s not that I don’t like being groped, but when there are too many people, it’s not sexy and sensual anymore. I don’t mind being a slut, but a whore is a whole other thing. Once I started dancing and got divorced, I discovered sex. After I discovered how to give myself an orgasm, I was hard to stop. Every guy was a target after that for at least six years.”
