On-location In England With Jeannine Oldfield

Jeannine Oldfield was studying to be a chef when she first called John Graham’s London photo studio inquiring as to whether he was looking for models,” recalled SCORE founder John Fox, who first met Jeannine in Las Vegas during the Consumer Electronics Show in January, 1989.

“John [Graham] knew he had a great model in Jeannine Oldfield and began to photograph her as frequently as their schedules allowed. Jeannine, being a student, was thankful for the jobs and had obviously become quite comfortable with nude modeling. After all, she had contacted us in the first place, right? And models who contact photographers rather than the other way around often are the type who get a sexual thrill out of being nude in front of the camera.”

In this very rare video straight off the original tape, Jeannine is at poolside on-location outside London. She wears a two-piece sundress and changes into a neon green one-piece swimsuit similar to the suits the girls wore on the TV show Baywatch.

John directs her every step of the way and her posing includes a lot of bouncing in the pool and some naked running. He keeps the lovely brunette busy and active. No standing and slowly removing clothing here. Boobs in motion was the plan.

Later in the video, Jeannine oils her beautiful body on a recliner. The sound of jets overhead in the distance is one of the problems a photographer might encounter shooting on-location. One of the great big-bust stars of the late 80s and early 90s, Jeannine was always Jeannine and never acted like a star even though she was every inch a star.

L.A. Bust was an immediate hit on the national club circuit. Like most of the popular feature dancers, she developed a core of fans who would patronize the club she was appearing in for the week (usually four days of shows). They’d see her magazine spreads and find out when she was being booked at a club near them. She would sit with them for chats, instant photos and table dancing.

Wrote L.A., “If you have never experienced a table dance, you’re really missing out. Imagine an exotic dancer stripping down to her G-string or nude if legal and physically seducing you right at your table.

“We do this by rubbing up and down your body, sometimes stopping with our mouth on your zipper and rubbing our chin on it. Then we turn around and bend over, swaying our hips as if to invite you in. Once your dick is so hard, it’s ready to blow, we sit in your lap and grind our ass on it.”

The big-bust feature dancer club circuit is a thing of the past now. The big years are over and big-bust strippers are very difficult to find today. Strip clubs have taken a beating from the web-cams (Montreal and Toronto used to be major centers for many strip clubs) but there will always be guys who want to see sexy girls in the flesh and get lap and table dances.

The first issue of SCORE, June 1992, was a bi-monthly magazine priced at $4.95. Time would tell if it would sink or float. It was a competitive field of publishing with many would-be rivals. At that time, photographers used film, not digital cameras. The Internet as we know it today did not exist. Big-boob VHS tapes sold for $70. Three issues of SCORE were published in 1992. All three magazines are collectors’ items today.

The covergirl personally picked by TSG founder to be the covergirl for his debut magazine was L.A. Bust, photographed by his business partner and director of photography, John Graham.

L.A. Bust’s main club was GiGi’s Cabaret in Houston, Texas. She loved the place and she wrote about it. “The club is a favorite of many of the stars on the circuit. Everyone’s favorite Toppsy Curvey was the first feature to appear there and she has been back many times since. It’s my favorite because it’s where my career began and it feels like home. Walking into the club is like walking into an expensive hotel. The club is absolutely beautiful on the inside although city ordinances dictate that the exterior be painted grey.”

Houston used to have a large number of strip clubs, both high-end and low-end. Competition is never the enemy. Civic groups and local governments are. In 2007, the city began a legal blitz on adult establishments. Gigi’s building eventually became the site of another club, Pleasure’s Cabaret. The building was demolished in 2013.

L.A. Bust did very little video modeling. During the 1990s, dancers such as L.A. were constantly traveling from club to club around North America and usually only had a limited window during the year to do magazine and video shoots.

Today, SCORE produces a video that matches the photo set, but during that decade, more magazine pictorials than videos were shot.

“I was born and raised in Orange County, California, surfed on Huntington Beach, spent my winters in Palm Springs and summers in Lake Tahoe,” said L.A., who now lives in the Houston area where she began her career.

“I was working as a waitress at a topless club called GiGi’s Cabaret. The owner thought I would do well as a feature dancer because my tits were so big. At first, I thought he was kidding because I had always felt that my boobs were too big. I had always wanted a smaller bustline to look more normal. Little did I know that so many guys were turned on by my ‘abnormal’ titties.”

Once upon a time in 1990s America, there was a group of dancers and close friends based in the mid-western states who raced around the country on planes and in cars dancing their shapely asses off and often raising money for charity events. This clan included Candee Apples, Alyssa Alps and Nicole Tyler. They didn’t get more apple pie (American slang for down-to-earth) than those girls.

Nicole Tyler’s debut appeared in the September 1995 issue of SCORE. She was informed by her agent in a phone call that she would be featured in SCORE magazine. At the time, Nicole was on the road heading to Texas. “I was so happy,” Nicole remembered. “I’ve wanted this for a long time.” During the heyday of exotic dancing, magazine exposure was important to the dancers. Their magazine credits and awards were usually on a club’s marquee the week they performed.

Nicole’s friendly and cheery personality made her a good choice for the Boob Cruise. She was a guest on two of them in 1997 and 1998, and both years, limber and flexible Nicole bent over backwards and won the beach party limbo contests.

In fact, the big-bust features and exotic dancers were the best choices for a week-long Caribbean party with SCORE readers because they were sociable and extroverted. They mixed well. Today, most models “exist” only on social media sites like Twitter unless they attend fan events such as Exxxotica.

Nicole was especially close with Alyssa and often appeared in Alyssa’s long-running column, “On The Road With Alyssa Alps.”

“My number-one hobby is beer! I’d better admit it because every time Alyssa Alps has her camera in her hand, I have a beer in mine!” said Nicole Tyler. “My favorite beer? Coors Light, Coors Light, Coors Light. Oh, did I mention Coors Light? It’s the only beer I drink.”

Nicole and Alyssa are bosom buddies.

“Nicole is one of my best friends,” Alyssa wrote. “We’ve been together since the beginning of our careers in 1991, when we met over beers, of course, at Weasels, way up north in Eagle River, Wisconsin. First it was paging, then phone calls, then sleepovers whenever she was in the area. Then she moved into my place, then she moved out to Ohio, and our cell phones and emails came in handy to keep talking.”

Nicole won the Club Owners Favorite Dancer award at the 2004 Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo.
