Penny Barber, a veteran pageant queen, has been coaching Alexis Tae for a pageant of her own over the last few weeks. The pageant is tomorrow, so they’re doing a dress rehearsal today, with Alexis trying on a stunning green dress for the first time. Penny can hardly believe her eyes- Alexis looks riveting, and she just can’t wait to see her prodigy grace the stage tomorrow in this splendid attire.

They decide to run through some of the questions the judges will ask Alexis tomorrow. Alexis stands in the center of the living room, acting as if she is already on stage, with Penny sitting on the couch asking her a few sample questions from some index cards she has. Alexis answers beautifully but ends up practically moving Penny to tears when she describes how her main mission if she wins will be to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

Alexis goes to comfort her, concerned for her mentor. Penny tells her not to worry- the speech was incredible and Penny is so proud of her. Penny only wishes that she could have had the same courage to answer like that when she was doing pageants all those years ago. Alexis, however, reminds Penny that the only reason she has the courage to do so now is because of Penny, and all the things she’s taught her. And right now, she’s willing to prove to Penny just how thankful she really is… with both her words… and her touch.

A lesbian couple, Kenzie Taylor and Bella Rolland, are surprised to discover that an unfamiliar young woman is inside their pool cabana. Kenzie is upset at first, but Bella points out that maybe this person needs help, and suggests they should talk to her. The couple approaches the young woman, Whitney Wright, who is clearly distraught and has nowhere to stay. The couple invites her into their house, saying she can freshen up and take a shower.

After showering and changing into fresh clothes, Whitney looks like she’s feeling a bit better. She thanks Kenzie and Bella for their kindness, and they ask her if she wants to talk about her situation, promising they won’t judge her. Whitney explains that she used to live with her boyfriend, but when he snooped in her private journal and found out she was starting to have dreams and fantasies about being with women, he was furious and kicked her out of the house. Kenzie and Bella are sympathetic, and Kenzie says that when she first came out as a lesbian, her family kicked her out too.

Kenzie and Bella agree to let Whitney stay for as long as she needs. Bella moves closer to Whitney to give her a comforting hug, and Whitney is so moved that she kisses Bella. Kenzie and Bella are surprised, but Whitney admits to a long-held fantasy of being cared for by an attractive couple. Kenzie and Bella decide to guide Whitney through her first lesbian sex encounter, which leads to a unique three-way experience and a newfound polyamorous relationship. Welcome to your new home, Whitney!

Cadence Lux unpacks a new vibrator and is excited about the remote app feature. She uses the toy on herself and is pleased with the results. Cadence decides to be sneaky and send a remote play code to her boyfriend, who will then be able to control the toy from afar. But Cadence is so excited that she unknowingly clicks on the wrong entry in her phone’s contact list, so instead of sending the code to her boyfriend Robbie, she accidentally sends it to the contact labeled ‘Roomie’. That’s her roommate, Octavia Red!

When Octavia receives the remote play code from Cadence, she is pleasantly surprised. Octavia is a lesbian, and thinks this is a sign that Cadence isn’t so straight after all. As the day goes by, Cadence does various things around her room while getting unexpected bursts of pleasure from the vibrator, unaware that Octavia is actually the one behind it. Eventually, Cadence talks to Robbie on the phone, and finally realizes that he’s not the one she’s been playing with all day. She hangs up on Robbie, then summons Octavia into the bedroom.

When Octavia joins her, Cadence confronts her about Octavia using the remote play app when Cadence meant to send the code to Robbie. Octavia is surprised and apologetic, insisting that she thought the invite was for HER. She insists she thought Cadence was experimenting with her, which Octavia was all for. Cadence is startled but flustered. Octavia sees an opening and tries to seduce Cadence, convincing her to experiment more with her. Cadence is hesitant but turned on, so she agrees to try lesbian sex for the first time!

Alexis Tae is hanging laundry on a drying rack because the dryer is broken. She gets into an argument with her wife, Whitney Wright, who doesn’t help enough with chores. Lumi Ray, the handywoman who is here to repair the dryer, catches sight of the argument.

Whitney angrily leaves the room. Lumi then asks Alexis to sign something before she can get started on fixing the dryer, and Alexis apologizes that Lumi had to see the unpleasant argument. Lumi is sympathetic, as Alexis explains that Whitney doesn’t help with housework… and isn’t giving her sex either.

Lumi says that a beautiful woman like Alexis deserves better, and that if Alexis were HER wife, Lumi would treat her right. Alexis is intrigued, and comes on to Lumi. They kiss and start having sex, but when Whitney returns to the room a few times, Alexis and Lumi have to rely on excuses, hiding behind the laundry on the rack, and just plain luck to avoid getting caught!

A matchmaker, Queenie Sateen, is working in her office when two clients, Adria Rae and Kimmy Kimm, come in and demand refunds. It turns out that Adria and Kimmy got matched for a blind date even though they’re ex-girlfriends! Adria and Kimmy say that since their past relationship didn’t work out, obviously Queenie’s matchmaking system was WRONG to say they’re compatible.

Queenie has confidence in her matchmaking system, but says she’d be willing to consider giving them refunds. But first, she wants to ask questions to better understand the situation. Adria and Kimmy begrudgingly say that’s fair enough.

As Queenie asks the two clients for details on their past relationship, it is revealed that the relationship ended when Kimmy moved out of town for a work opportunity, while Adria stayed in town. Queenie deduces that Adria and Kimmy were each waiting for the other to ask if they could move out of town together. But since NEITHER of them dared to ask, they each assumed the relationship was over.

Adria and Kimmy realize that Queenie is right, and that their relationship ended over a huge misunderstanding. They want to ‘kiss and make up’, but ask for Queenie’s help so they don’t mess up again when it comes to communicating their wants and needs. Queenie is all too happy to help, showing once and for all that her matchmaking system is NEVER wrong!

For this new season of We Like Girls, we’re trying something a bit different with the format: instead of keeping the stars apart at the beginning, we’re getting them into the same room right away!
