SCORE CEO John Fox (at the time, editor-in-chief of Gent) remembers Lisa Phillips, one of his and John Graham’s greatest discoveries. This pictorial was produced in June 1990.
“This layout was photographed in our London studio almost two years after we first shot Lisa in the Bahamas. You can see that our 5’11” Belfast Bomber had grown up a lot. She was losing her baby fat and a little bust mass in the process but a beautiful Irish woman was emerging.
“Though Lisa’s posing did span several years, because she was an exclusive to one photographer, she was not photographed as much as you might imagine. This made every photo opportunity precious.”
